Departments

The individual academic departments matured and evolved in concert overall with the William States Lee College of Engineering. Each department added graduate degrees, created research programs and centers, improved curriculum, changed their names and educated thousands of engineers. Based on interviews with some of the principal people involved in all aspects of the engineering and technology academic units throughout the years, the history of these departments are told here:
