Fall 2019 Senior Design projects started Wednesday, August 28th, with students, industry supporters and mentors meeting for the first time. For the fall cohort, there are a total of 377 students working on 44 industry-supported, 14 departmental and 7 competition-team projects. Photos of the kickoff are here.

The William States Lee College of Engineering began the fall 2019 semester this week, with new students attending Donuts with the Dean and Commencement on Monday, and everyone beginning classes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Photos of the week are here.

Mechanical Engineering major Janessa Schwallie is helping lead the new campus Millennium Fellowship program, working with 20 undergraduates from across the UNC Charlotte to implement the program’s LIFE Skills Initiative with area high school students.
